What are we moving around? If we select and the tag and go to the following. And if you go to the coordinates we can actually move this around using these coordinates. What I want to do is turn it off entirely so we have only one repetition of our texture. Select this and change the projection in the tag tab to flat.and now the configuration has changed. Drag this on my pen null, this is the top of my group it's a null object and you can see that it occupies, it covers the whole object. Great, I'm going to go to the color channel, turn this off and load an image. Double-click to create new material, I'm going to bring it over here, and I'm going to double-click it so that I open the material editor and name it new logo. So here we have our naked pen, and let's go and dress it up. So how did we add these? Well, let me show you. We have this top ring with the logo over here and then we have this logo over here and we have grip lines over here. Now if you're wondering why I don't have a bouncing ball or something in this scene, that is because I actually do, so there you go, there's your bouncing ball. Adding textures that cover the whole object is one thing, but textures can and should be applied to portions of your model when the situation requires it.
